The Story of My Life

  This afternoon was beauty shop day.  I usually go to Wendy's after the beauty shop.  I had the baconator for dinner.  Did it look like this?  Similar.  The hamburger seemed to have been sitting around awhile and gotten soggy on the bottom.  No pickles. No onion.  Did it have that much bacon?  I don't think so.  But it had a nice amount.  It was yummy. Maybe next week I'll go to McD's and have a fish sandwich.  

  Delbert came by and filled my propane tank.  Oh joy.   I missed his actual visitation because I was in the back of the house huddled under an electric blanket.  I just bought that a few days ago.  I shudder to think of how it would have been if I hadn't.  I know how it would have been.  Sleeping in my coat.   Going hungry because the burner on the stove didn't work.   I was upset with myself about missing the visitation.  Delbert likes to flirt.   He's probably flirting with some other woman now.   Hey!   It doesn't often come to running out of propane.  Why?  The consequences are too dire to ignore the situation.   But I haven't yet emerged from the rubble.  I can't get the ding dang heater to light.  Will I have to phone Delbert to come back over here?  

  Have you ever done anything unwise?  If not, here's a suggestion.   When the weather gets cold, don't check the propane levels in your tank.   The propane company came by and filled my tank.  The heater in the living room is being stubborn though.   Have I learned my lesson?  We'll see.
